The well-established Master’s Programmes in Management (Mains- management, innovation, service engineering) and in Environmental Management and Sustainability (Geca) of the Sant’Anna School Institute of Management are suitable for recent graduates and aspiring managers looking at careers in circular economy- online applications are accepted no later than November 8, 2016.

The Institute of Management has offered top ranked master’s programmes in innovation and environmental management during the last 20 years. New master’s programmes are comprehensive and interdisciplinary to give the next generation of leaders the essentials on the circular economy framework – innovation aimed at keeping resources in use for as long as possible, and regenerating products and materials. Financial contributions for tuition reimbursement are provided by private companies and 22 scholarships are offered by INPS (National Institute for Social Security) for sons and daughters of civil servants, deceased and retired employees.

The Master Mains was the first master’s programme in innovation management in Italy. It was designed to train ethical and responsible leaders to meet the challenges of rapidly changing business contexts and it still offers an international perspective on business with a combination of formal lectures, seminars, tutorials and group discussions.The Mains innovation lab. expert meetings will support student ventures and integrate theoretical knowledge with assessment processes.

The Master Geca, founded in 2007, was the first course in Italy to tackle subjects including integrated waste management and recycling, new business models and value creation. The new 2016 / 2017 Master GECA will focus on the “circular economy”. The course will provide opportunities for students to explore regenerative product design, reverse logistics, business model innovation, and cross-sector collaboration; to adopt a circular economy approach that reduces environmental impacts by minimizing waste and excessive resource use.
